What is Stroke?

Stroke is a sudden loss of consciousness resulting when the rupture or occlusion of a blood vessel leads to oxygen lack in the brain.

Is Stroke preventable?

Stroke is a preventable disease. It can be managed, prevented and treated. It is important to know more about the 5th leading cause of death in Africa. Stroke is a condtion casued by a lack of oxygen in the brain. With proper treatment, exercise, diet and awareness, stroke is very much preventable.

Does Stroke affect only aged people?

Stroke affects both the young and the old. Stroke is a condition that affects all and every class of humans, both the young and the old, rich and poor. However, with the right lifestyle, stroke can be prevented, managed and treated.
